I provide skincare advice and make-up services for all occasions, including weddings, special events, proms and every day.
I have varied ‘make-up packages’ to cater for all needs. These include, the obvious, Bridal make-up. I can also do hair up and make-up for other members of your bridal party on the day too.
I offer skincare consultations, Temple spa master classes, where I will “bring the spa to your home”, make-up lessons, ladies evenings, glam-up and go out, and prom make-up and hair.
About Me
I qualified as a Hairdresser, Beauty therapist and Make-up artist in the late 90’s in Surrey. My passion was in the make-up and skincare side of things, so the best experience to get a good grounding for both, was on make-up counters in department stores. I started working as a consultant for Origins, I was then head hunted by Lancôme and was to become one of ten make-up artists in the country. I did events, new collection training and fashion shows and then got head hunted by Bobbi Brown, starting as an Assistant Studio Manager and then becoming a Studio Manager in a different store. I then got head hunted again for Laura Mercier but my love for Bobbi Brown led me back to them…..and thankfully they took me back!
All of these companies gave me incredible and faultless training and the perfect grounding in all aspects of make-up and skincare, plus the confidence to believe in myself and what I wanted to do with a make-up brush.
I then decided to leave retail and concentrate on becoming a freelance Bridal make-up artist and was successful with “word of mouth” recommendations which I really enjoyed and I attended wedding fayres to promote myself. My weekends were getting filled with wedding bookings.
I then relocated and had to get a “proper” job, due to me being in a completely new area. So the make-up business died down for a little while and I was only doing friends of friends etc…
I then got married and had 3 boys so that has filled my time but my passion has always been with make-up. I’m also now a Temple Spa skincare consultant. It was really important for me to find an amazing skincare brand that I believed in and had a passion for, to compliment my make-up business, so I invested in Temple Spa.
I’m well and truly back, excited and armed with my make-up brushes.
